This Privacy Policy explains how Baxter Labs LLC (“Baxter Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through the public Baxter Labs website, including baxterlabs.io and related public pages, forms, and features operated by Baxter Labs.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the public website and communications initiated through the website.

It does not govern personal information or other data processed by Baxter Labs on behalf of clients in connection with paid consulting, implementation, automation, software development, support, or other services. Those activities may be governed by separate agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, confidentiality agreements, data processing agreements, or other written contracts.

When you contact Baxter Labs through the website, we may collect information such as:

• Your business, company, or firm name, if provided.

• Information about the page or service from which your inquiry originated.

When you visit the website, Baxter Labs and service providers involved in operating, hosting, securing, or delivering the website may automatically process limited technical information.

The Baxter Labs public contact form is intended for ordinary business inquiries.

Please do not submit highly sensitive, regulated, privileged, confidential, or security-critical information through the public website unless Baxter Labs has specifically provided an appropriate method for transmitting that information.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate our business or website.

Service Providers

We may provide information to companies that perform services for Baxter Labs, including:

The Baxter Labs contact form currently uses Resend as a primary email-delivery service. If primary delivery fails, information submitted through the form may be transmitted through a fallback form or message-delivery provider so that the inquiry can reach Baxter Labs.

A confirmation message may also be sent to the email address you provide.

Service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to Baxter Labs and are subject to the agreements, terms, privacy obligations, and legal requirements applicable to them.

Professional Advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, consultants, or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary for business, legal, compliance, or risk-management purposes.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

Baxter Labs does not currently use cookies or similar technologies through the public website for targeted behavioral advertising.

If Baxter Labs later introduces nonessential analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, we will update our disclosures and provide any notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

7. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” or similar privacy signal.

Baxter Labs does not currently engage in cross-site behavioral advertising or sell personal information collected through the website. Accordingly, browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change how Baxter Labs processes information through the website.

We do not authorize third-party advertising networks to use the Baxter Labs website to track visitors across unrelated websites for behavioral advertising.

Service providers involved in hosting, security, communications, or other website operations may process technical information as necessary to provide those services.

Where applicable law requires Baxter Labs to recognize a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal for a particular processing activity, Baxter Labs will do so with respect to activities subject to that requirement.

8. Data Retention

Baxter Labs retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business, operational, security, legal, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

For example, an inquiry and related communications may be retained while:

• We respond to the inquiry.
• A potential engagement is being evaluated.
• The communication remains relevant to an existing or potential business relationship.
• The record is reasonably necessary for business administration, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, or protection of legal rights.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal or record-retention requirements.

Backup systems, archived systems, and third-party systems may retain information for additional periods as part of ordinary backup, security, or disaster-recovery processes.

No website, transmission method, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. Accordingly, Baxter Labs cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed in an unauthorized manner.

If Baxter Labs experiences a security incident for which notification is required by applicable law, Baxter Labs will provide legally required notifications.

Baxter Labs does not currently sell personal information collected through the website or use it for targeted behavioral advertising.

As described above, Baxter Labs may collect:

Baxter Labs does not currently use the public website for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not authorize third-party advertising networks to track visitors through the Baxter Labs website across unrelated websites for behavioral-advertising purposes.

Changes

The process for notifying users of material changes to this Privacy Policy is described in Section 16 below.

13. Children's Privacy

The Baxter Labs website is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

Baxter Labs does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 through the public website.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been submitted through the website, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information unless retention is required by law.

Baxter Labs LLC is based in Illinois, United States.

If you access the website from outside the United States, information submitted through the website may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in the United States or other locations where Baxter Labs or its service providers operate.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws of your jurisdiction.

Where applicable law requires additional safeguards relating to international transfers of personal information, Baxter Labs will use appropriate measures as required by that law.

This Privacy Policy governs the Baxter Labs public website and information collected through public website interactions.

It does not replace or modify privacy, confidentiality, security, or data-processing obligations contained in a separate written agreement between Baxter Labs LLC and a client, vendor, partner, employee, contractor, or other party.

Where a separate written agreement governs a particular processing activity, that agreement will control with respect to that activity to the extent provided in the agreement.
